Short answers about Akademos to what foundations and principals ask us most.
What is Akademos?
A school management system for private schools and school groups, from playgroup to upper secondary. The school information side covers attendance, grades, report cards, fees and parent communication; the LMS side covers syllabi, materials, assignments and quizzes. One app, built and run by Genorah Labs.
Can one foundation run several units on it?
Yes. Playgroup through senior high can sit under one foundation, with a dashboard per unit and one for the whole group.
Does it export to e-Rapor and Dapodik?
Export in e-Rapor and Dapodik formats is in development. In the meantime, student data from a Dapodik export can already be imported into Akademos.
In development How do parents pay fees?
The office issues invoices in bulk with instalments, and every payment gets a PDF receipt. Paying by virtual account, QRIS, e-wallet or at a minimarket, and staged reminders, are in development.
In development Can report cards be withheld for unpaid fees?
No. Akademos never withholds report cards or diplomas. A school can set reminders or restrict optional services such as extracurricular sign-up, but report cards are always issued.
Do parents and students get their own access?
Yes. There are five portals: teachers, parents, students, the office and leadership, and curriculum leads. Parents use one account for all their children. Grades 1 to 3 have no student login. Parents see their work instead.
Do we need to install anything?
No. Akademos runs in the browser on any phone or laptop. For exams, schools can use Safe Exam Browser.
Does the AI grade students?
No. Multiple-choice quizzes are marked against an answer key, which is arithmetic, not AI. For essays, AI will suggest a mark and feedback, and the teacher sets the grade. That feature is in development.
In development How is it priced?
One price per student, with every feature included. Teacher and staff accounts are free. We go through the details in a walkthrough.
Can the school export its data?
Yes, all of it, at any time. Every change is logged, and changing a grade after it is published needs a reason.
How do we move from spreadsheets?
We help move your student, staff and class data from Excel or a Dapodik export, with a preview before anything is saved.
